The childrens were done a year ago before adding middle names was a requirement.
Would we need to re do them?
They're still valid for a year so I assumed they would be ok
Mine and hubbs expired in Jan so I renew them and added our middle names...not sure if the kiddies need redoing now? 🤔🤔
Personally I would not worry- unless you read on here or elsewhere they have started turning people away for not having it. I suspect they will wait (if they are to do anything) until 2 years past the change date so as not to run into the problem where it didn't used to say it. My old ones never had middle name on either, and one is still valid for a few months- if it had been valid at date of travel I would have just kept it personally.

I have not heard of anyone having issues, but if you are applying for a new one now, you should put middle name on now. If you already have one, I personally would not bother as it changed late last year I understand but I think the graphic showing the names in the chevrons is newer, if that is the case they are now clearly making sure new applicants add it on.

Thanks,
I think I'll observe for a bit longer before deciding.
Mine and my husbands expired in Jan this year so I added my middle name to that but our children's are still valid for another year and were done prior to the new rules.
I doubt they would refuse entry to estas done prior to the change.
It is making me feel a bit nervy though so I'll watch and wait for a little longer before deciding.

Hi BB, unfortunately she's missed the diagram/info ? at application first question outlining what DHS/CBP now require for travel document (pp/ESTA) match. How many ESTA's would need re-application? If your holiday is this summer you may find they'll be fine.

BTW BB, as the DHS/CBP are unaware if there's more than one given name ESTA will be approved. Only at check-in could travel doc mis-match become apparent.
