Sanford transfers

We want to fly from local airport which means using tui for flights, they only fly into Sanford and we are considering not hiring a car next year so my question is how do you get from Sanford to your accommodation?

Several options available... we actually foubd that hiring a package through Tui (Flights, hotel and transfers) worked out a better price than buying flight and hotel alone and then paying for a transfer. I'm going in July with my Neice and so we are taking the complimentary Tui Transfer.

Having spoken to a colleage who has just returned from Florida having done the same, she said the transfer was a Mears bus and it was all very smooth and efficient.

Pick up time on the return leg was approx 4 hours before the outbound flight (which is actually comparable to Magical Express considering Sanford is about an hours drive away this seems very good).

You could also use an Uber to get from the airport to your hotel, and the same back again. Something to consider is when you would be looking to travel as Uber surge pricing could make it pricey- but I have read a number of reports on here that it's somewhere in the region of $60-80 one way in an Uber.

You could also pay to book a Tui transfer if you are not getting a package with them. or pay to book any other private transfer through the likes of Mears or you could go fancy and get a Limo to pick you up.

Private transfers can be expensive so personally if I hadn't found the Tui package deal cheapest I would have chosen to Uber.

Last Sept i found it cheaper to hire a car for a couple of days to get from the airport to i drive. Dropped it off locally on i drive and then at the end of the holiday hired a car for the last 2 days from the same drop off point to get back out to the airport.
worked out cheaper then getting a uber both ways.
