Annoyed with BA

So I signed in to my BA account today to check when check in opened for our flights tomorrow and it offered me an upgrade to PE for what we considered a good price, especially as it is dh birthday tomorrow, so we decided to go for it

All went well until after payment page when it came up with system error. We tried again and same thing happened. Anyway we did what it said and called the number for customer service. Ten minutes later I finally spoke to Argit who said that all the PE seats had gone however there were Business that I could book at the airport tomorrow for £200 (the PE upgrade was £250! )

By the time all this had happened check in had opened and all that was left was 2 seats in row 43 middle, 1 row back from the loos Plus the upgrades are still being advertised! How difficult is it to have a banner taken down when the seats are sold? Anyway I will definitely be asking about these £200 upgrades tomorrow, but I don't hold out much hope, unless anyone knows better!

I’m also fed up with BA at the minute. Got a quote to downgrade our car and save £200 last Wednesday and ever since have been trying to call to do it ever since but the lines are always busy and it won’t let me even wait on hold. Price has probably gone back up now

Well here now and boarding pass came up as row 18 which is PE, will see where we are but that is a PE seat I think😉 Will just have to wait until I get home to see if we have been charged for it!

If you wanted PE or Club World,mil sorry, but you should have booked that class in the first place.
You’re getting what you actually paid for, economy seats.

Bit harsh. Sometimes people cant afford it at the time of booking, and an uograde later on is always tempting. OP glad it has worked out for you in the end have a great holiday
