i think that i would look at maybe doing a split stay, staying for a few days/week at a Disney Budget hotel, Art of Animation or one of the All Stars maybe, using ME to the hotel and using the Disney transport around for a few days, and then pick up a car and move to a villa or suite style hotel/condo like Encantanda maybe. I am OK in hotel for a few days but after a week i find it quite annoying and difficult with just one DD! Using Disney transport is definitely a challenge and i do not enjoy this at all and with a child in a buggy it will be difficult as you have to fold buggy on the buses all the time. I find it packed and tbh a nightmare, being crammed into the buses is not really part of the holiday experience for me, and i think that even if i stayed onsite again i would use Uber/Lyft to get around if i didnt have a car. you may even get lucky and be able to get a week with dining, but a few days of eating soley at Disney is not great, personally after a few days i have had enough!

Florida really does offer such a wide range of choices with regards to accommodation and transport etc, with the widespread availability of Lyft/Uber getting around really is not a problem at all.

Get lots of quotes and look around online too, dont get suckered into being forced to book early, there are nearly always offers of some sort around.
