How much did you pay for may 19 flights and when did you book?
We need flights 19th may 2020 to 2nd June 2020 from MAN (we live between Leeds and Newcastle) London doesnt work for us as we are a family of 6 so too pricey!
Just trying to get ideas... dobt need a fly drive as we've managed to secure a 7seater mini van for £332 with Andy at DCHF which we thought was fantastic! |

Following. But last time we flew 3 years ago and those approximate dates we paid £1200 for 2 adults and a child with aer Lingus changing flights in Dublin.
We are going the same time next year 🤗 but trying to avoid Manchester this time as a bit of a trek so hopefully getting one from the NE. |

We’ve been looking at Teesside airport this time. When I priced it up for that time this year a few months ago it was coming out at a good price so fingers crossed. I would definitely look as an option.
I’d looked at Leeds Bradford too but the flights didn’t work out. |

These are the exact dates we have booked to go this year (we leave on Sunday! ) and we are flying from Manchester.
We basically found the flights we wanted and then waited it out until they dropped in price. We booked ours with Thomas Cook about 10 weeks before the flight date. They dropped from £720 each (premium economy by the way) to £690 then the next day to £590! So we booked and then a couple of days later they went back up to £720 and have stayed there ever since. So I would definitely recommend waiting until 8-10 weeks before... not going to lie it gave me a bit of anxiety but my boyfriends mum does it all the time and always gets great deals. Best of luck! |

We arrived yesterday and paid £300 each from Manchester to MCO with Virgin. We booked last September.

We fly tomorrow. I booked about 10 weeks ago. The time before that I booked about 6 weeks out!
From the minute we decide we want to go back I am constantly checking the dates that we know we will go (always May!) and grab them as soon as the price is right. I’ve done this twice now and paid 1400 for 2 A 2 C direct with Thomas Cook. I missed out on great Virgin flights being indecisive. This time round I waited and waited till well after the Jan sales as knew the prices would come down further and they did. It took longer this time and more searching but it pays off booking later if you can hold your nerve. |
