Mobile Has anyone flown KLM Economy Comfort?

Looking to fly KLM to LA next year, I wondered if anyone had paid the extra money for economy Comfort seats, and if so, was it worth the extra money? It would be £123 each, each way, with 4 of us traveling.

£1,000 return for the family is not worth it imo. That £1,000 would go a long way in spends or towards booking better hotels or towards next years holiday.

Perhaps we could cut the cost down by just doing it on the return flight? I would be grateful if anyone has used the service and could comment on their experience! Thanks

Economy Comfort is just extra legroom seats with a bigger recline iirc. I have used this as a platinum reward member.

If paying, it is usually cheaper to book exit seats for those who need the extra leg room.

We use KLM often as we can go from our local airport, their seat widths and legroom as standard and service tend to be way above the like of BA as well. Rarely would I bother to pay extra on outbound daytime flights as we don't tend to try to sleep on those.

On return flights, being tall we usually do book, but always lust look at exit row first then the more expensive options if required. At the end of the day on an overnight flight you want to get comfortable enough to get some sleep, the other upgrades that come with premium etc mostly go unused.

Thanks for your advice. However, as we are travelling with children I'm not sure that we are able to book the exit seats?
