What to do in 5 hour layover !

Hi all, we arrive into SFO from Dublin in June and had been due to jump onto another internal flight to Vegas 3 hours later... Roll on yesterday, received an email to tell me my new flight time was 1 hour 45 minutes later than expected giving us approx 5 hours to hang around an airport.🙈. I would imagine that we will loose approx 1 hour getting off plane and rebooking in for our next flight, then let�s say we get something to eat... 1 more hour killed what else can we expect to be doing?

Suggestions appreciated

We have a similiar wait in Heathrow and I�m also stuck for ideas. I�m looking at booking into a lounge and will have a meal but I guess I�ll bring a good book ...

I used to fly this route a lot and I knew that I could usually make a 1 hour connection but they would (quite rightly) make me have a 3 hours connection I would go straight through immigration and then go to the United desk and get them to put me on an earlier flight this was possible 90% of the time but I was travelling with only hand luggage.

Whilst SFO is s nice airport there is not an awful lot there but I guess you know that EU airports are better than US ones to kill time

If you got a tablet find a nice sport and watch a film or read a book time wii fly by

Hi Sew, unfortunately United have cancelled the earlier connection so there is actually no flight until the later one. I also checked Skyscanner and there are no other flights heading to Vegas earlier.
