BA A380 First class seating
I am booking flights to Miami tomorrow -pushing the boat out with the BA sale and booking first class out.
It says the flight is on an A380 and I understand we can book seats for free so does anyone have any advice on the best seats to book? We are a couple and when I had a look on You Tube it looked like the middle seats might be better for a couple - it looked like there is a screen between the 2 seats that can come down? Any advice? Thanks in advance |

Never been on the A380 but have travelled F on the 777 a few times with familiy. If you want to talk to your partner the centre seats are really the only way to do that. All the seats are equally good in the centre so don't think you'll make a bad choice. First seats are as you say free to reserve.
The centre screen retracts and you can easily talk by leaning slightly forward. For privacy 1A and 1B are best for solo travellers, but think these are reserved for Gold members. I'm sure you will really enjoy it no matter what seat you choose, especially on the A380. Edited at 07:50 PM. |

Lucky you. My A380 has been changed to a crappy 747. Enjoy.

If you decided to chose the single window seats you can always "buddy dine" too.
Looking forward to hearing about your trip - love the A380 it's a beautiful aircraft. |

We have done BA first a few times but not sure if we have on a 380. We are flying first to Atlanta in September and that is a 777. On my flight right now, all the centre seats are gone and the all the single seats down the side are available. We took the centre seats on the back (fourth) row this time. We have in the past taken the single seats on the side one in front of the other as we don’t interact that much on a flight anyway. I don’t think there is a bad seat.
