Adding people for part of DVC stay.

We have just found out some friends of ours are in Orlando for a week of our holiday in September. They are only visiting for the later half of our stay, but we wanted to offer them our spare bed. Can I add them to our reservation, even though they will be joining us later?

As far as I know you can go ahead and add them to your booking as long as it stays within the room occupancy. You don't all need to be at reception for checking in, so when they arrive they can go straight to the room.

Yes as above, just add them on at the start. No one physically checks in now anyway, just pick up their magic bands for them at the front desk when you arrive.

As above. It seems silly you can't add them on for part of the stay but for some reason you can't.

We have this issue this Summer. Both of us and the Granddaughter for 2 weeks, in the second week Daughter arrives hence 4 in the room. Then they both go and we have 2 weeks on our own.

However the booking has to show 4 occupants for 4 weeks. Nuts.
