Das for galaxy's edge ?

I read on Disney food blog that das will be available for smugglers run when galaxy's edge opens in August . Does anyone know how this works with a New land ? As there will obviously be long lines to enter the land will we need to get a return time to enter the land then another one to ride the ride?

I had assumed, as you can only use the Das on rides with a FP entry, that you wouldn't be able to use the Das for Smugglers Run as it won't have a FP initially?

If you can, then great and we can go on but I am not expecting to be able to use Das for it.

I’ve been told that on non fast pass rides a wheelchair access or exit way would be utilised, although most wheelchair access is now the normal queue.
Not sure how that would work.
I’m guessing that they have to let and have lanes to use even in GE for DAS as otherwise they’d be opening themselves up to disability discrimination claims

The fastpass lane will exist as there will eventually be fastpass for the ride so das will be able to use that lane even if fastpass is not offered , I was able to use the fastpass lane using das on SDMT during MNSSHP when fastpass was not offered, I just don't know how it would work with the long lines to enter the land.

We were given a DAS return time for the M&G with 7 dwarves at mnsshp in 2017. The time was written down on a piece of paper by the supervising CM.
They may utilise a similar system.

There is a DAS plan in place. Just turn up and ask as usual.

Following as my son uses a DAS pass but we’re not going to next year so maybe FP will be active then?
