Parks will be hot so wear something that is cool (vest tops are great - but remember the suncream).

I was very self conscious about sweating and having damp patches and so once asked one of the English cast members at the Rose & Crown pub how they coped with the heat & humidity. She said the once you accept you will sweat and that that it ok as everyone else is doing the same, you stop worrying abut it. And yes I did.

Everyone is different but I couldn't wear flipflops in the parks - I need something more supportive & walked my miles in my Gowalk 2, and some strappier sandals at night.

Never been cold in a restaurant though... Too much padding on me I guess

Some restaurants do require a cardigan lol
I am planning on some just above / knee length summer dresses, are there any parks I most definitely need shorts to avoid flashing my knickers on rides? Can't believe I am now thinking what I will wear on certain days, as well as knowing where we will be on each day 😂

I wear shorts and vest tops, but agree with a PP about taking a scarf for the restaurants, folds up nice and small and keeps the chill off shoulders when in the A/C! I have some lovely Disney ones and usually end up buying new ones in hot topic.

I think the overnight temperature when we were there in August was a chilly 23 degrees C.

So at 7am it was 23 or 24 degrees C, I wore vests and shorts and I wear either sandals or trainers both Skechers.

Children and Dh wore shorts and t shirts. We all wear baseball caps to keep the sun off, plus they can be attached to a bag for rides.

I never found restaurants chilly, more a blessed relief.

Yep, shorts and t shirts for parks, I tend to wear Skechers shoes or sandals for comfort and support but no flip flops. Thin cardigan for evenings just incase, esp if in a restaurant or after rain.

I am so uncomfortable in shorts. I don’t like anything tight around my waist (may not be tight at the beginning of the holiday but certainly will be by the end lol)
I have never flashed on a ride yet but I do hold my dress down during the drop in TOT just to be safe lol
I wear the strappy, skater style dresses so I don’t feel restricted 👍🏻 I also have flip flops in different colours to match my dresses

Wear something loose and made of cotton and take pac a macs. We had seriously hot weather and some days torrential rain.

We went August last year. Have previously been in May, October and June and it was so much hotter even than June. Def hot enough from when you get up to wear just lightest shorts/tops. Found between 2 and 5 to be uncomfortable, but used cooling towels (a total blessing), found shade, jumped into aircon shops or aircon ride queues, or do the shows. We were very lucky in that we had few showers, but again that may have cooled everything down

Frosty towels , light clothing and anything moisture wicking is good too. The humidity is what makes it worse for us. You can ask for ice at any quick service locations some even have flavoured water with ice in for you to drink at no charge. Make sure your footwear is well and truly broken in before you go it prevents those aching feet developing horrid blisters. For those of you that get “ that rash” I can only say take some hydrocortisone 1% cream to apply and maybe try a different sunscreen. Also maybe see your GP before you go mine prescribed Telfast to get that sensitive skin from breaking out so badly. I combined that with UltraSun factor 30 lotion and managed much better. Yes make the most of any air conditioned locations you can find and drink plenty of water too.
