Mobile Avis car hire- car class

We arrived on Thursday into Fort Lauderdale. We have a BA fly drive with Avis, group W car. I upgraded from an F to make sure the boot was big enough.

We have been given a GMC All-terrain. It’s fairly comfortable but the boot is quite small. Then I noticed this morning there is an F on the windscreen.
Does this mean we have been given a group F? On the paperwork it states standard suv.

What is the best way to query this, they are usually so slow with emails

Thank You

I always look at the car types and groups on the flyer talk forum

Say's GMC Terrain is class W Standard SUV. Class F is intermediate SUV.

Best way to clarify with Avis would be by phone, or go into an Avis branch - but it looks like you have the correct class.

Fab thanks everybody. It’s just a bit smaller than the car we had last year (group W) but I guess this group covers lots of cars.

If you put your booking into the AVIS .com app, it will show your booking and class, plus the car you have on hire.

Also, see the code from the windscreen sticker too.

Do you have to install the US version of the Avis app?
If so, how do you do it? Set up another google account as a US account?
