Hertz any good at Orlando?

Hi,

Price checking for next Easter and Hertz direct is coming up much cheaper than the rest.

Not used them before - how do they compare to Alamo and Avis?

Thanks

Don’t Hertz charge daily for sunpass use, unlike Alamo or Avis who have a maximum charge

Indeed they do - see the attached.

sunpass/en/tolls/rentalVehicles.shtml

But I guess it depends how much cheaper the OP has got the car and whether the toll admin fee negates it.

If you go through a toll every day of a 14 day holiday then Hertz admin fee would be c$70 and with Alamo c$20.

Reading Mick's link, it looks like Hertz only charge on the days where tolls are actually incurred rather than for the entire rental

We've used them from Kissimmee out to the coast and then back to MCO and didn't have any problems

But at the same time if you only incurred fees to/from the airport you'd only pay $9.90

Either way you could just not take the toll package and just pay the tolls in cash at most places. Only ever use tolls myself to and from airport and KSC.
