usual case someone gets famous/successful & they have "sold out" ? as they get paid/free stuff for doing what is now their job...

Not at all, no. They've worked tirelessly to build up a following to the point they are now receiving the recognition from Disney et al that was previously afforded to others. Their delight was obvious when they received their very first invite to a media event and, clearly, they are now on Disney's "social media influencer" list.

If this permits them to more quickly gather content through visits, tours and meals that would otherwise take them longer to get round, then that can only be a good thing for those of us that like their coverage of all that WDW has to offer.

Personally I couldn’t judge anyone who has worked hard and provides information and experiences that have helped many over the years. If I’m not interested in the subject being covered then I miss that one. I always find them to be fair in their judgement and are quite open when disagreeing or if they dislike anything that they are reviewing , whether it be a freebie or not.

I think they've been getting freebies for years, but rules only changed recently so we only recently know this.

It seems Tim still has another job, whilst jen is editing full time.

Tim left his job a fair while ago. YouTube is their full time ‘employer’ now.

The vlogs are obvs different but look back ten years and they’ve evolved enourmously anyway. They do do vlogs every so often giving updates as to what’s changed and why they’ve made alterations to things so watching them makes a lot of things make more sense, they’re very good at explaining their reasons.

I don’t overly care for some of the vlogs but for the most part I enjoy them. I do cringe when he gets info wrong (for stuff I know) and wonder what else I’ve believed was right if I know he gets stuff wrong though!

Really? Tim wears an Apple Watch (maybe Jenn does as well) and they both have iPhones. Wouldn’t be surprising if Samsung wanted to turn them!

Unpopular opinion -
I don’t like Jen, to me (in my opinion) she interrupts a lot and likes to be centre of attention I much prefer Tim on his own.

I think the balance of their relationship is that he panders to her every need and whim and want so when they’re together she’s in charge and he lets it be that way. Even when she constantly interrupts him! He’s much less focused when she’s there as he’s always thinking about what she needs, wants, will be doing next. X

It’s slightly endearing to have someone ‘look at you the way Tim looks at Jenn’ but now YT is their job full time they kinda need to get on with the task in hand!
