BA / AVIS Fly Drive

We're flying into TPA in July with BA and never used Avis before. How do I sign up for preferred, do I need to link my booking somehow with BA?

Go into avis and hit the login button, it will give you the option of creating an account, just follow the links and they will give you a "wizard" number to use . I just completed a booking on BA.com for flying into TPA, during the process I added my preferred number (wizard) and BA automatically added it to the my Avis account. I'm not sure how to do this if you have an existing BA booking, I'd have a look at MMB on the BA site.
