Long time lurker, first time poster

Hello everyone!

Like many other new posters, I've been spending a lot of time here, reading up as part of the planning for our trip to WDW this summer. It's my third visit, but I'm bringing my husband and daughter to experience the magic for the first time.

My own first visit was in the late 80s as an 11 year old, where EPCOT really made an impact, I was very into the band A-Ha at the time and I remember being gutted that the Norway pavilion was having its soft opening just a few days after our visit. Years later, I had a one day visit to the Magic Kingdom in August 2000 with friends while I was working in the States, but I remember it being super-busy and we didn't get to do too much of anything just in one day. I even missed out on Norway again

Thank you to everyone who posts here for all your hints and tips, with a big thank you to folk who have given restaurant recommendations as making two weeks of ADRs is not a task to underestimate! I also appreciate the tons of info on practical stuff which just wasn't a thing 20 years ago. I'm going to attempt a pre-trip and full trip report as a way to give something back to the boards, as they've been such a help to me. And fingers crossed I get to Norway this time!
