what cars do alamo call economy?

will be going next November so still have plenty time to plan

have taken virgin's car package as it is only me - going solo
i have just taken the economy

does any one know or what alamo call an economy?
is there much choice at MCO?

I don't want to take a big car as its just me and I don't drive a big car here.

many thanks

I think it's economy that Orlando Airport don't have - your minimum will actually be a Compact - but you can save literally a couple of £s by booking a 2 door economy instead (we do this when we don't book a minivan, cos we don't care). We've done this and they don't have 2 doors and you're really looking at Ford Focus size 4-door. You'll still probably have a choice - sometimes they have the Chrysler hatchback things that look like they are from the 50s so you can go boot or hatchback to suit you, but they are okay.

When you get to the garage just say you are looking for Economy and they'll point you at Compact (or sometimes something even better!)

There will be small / normal sized cars for you to drive. When it’s just the two of us we always book the cheapest car category. They are just ‘normal’ cars usually. Although a few trips ago we ended up with a truck ! Totally our choice as there were lots of cars. Thought we would mix it up!

I try to book economy if it's significantly cheaper (not just a dolllar or 2). My experience at airports all over the country is they seldom have economy cars so you are upgraded to a compact.

A a single person travelling, i much prefer a smaller car, similar to what I drive on a daily basis. I all too often find none available and end up with a monster I would prefer to forgo but also am not willing to wait around for a smaller car.

As a single person it might not matter. But they do have small cars
We were given a Fiat 500 which we swapped for something marginally bigger. Like a C1 sort of size.

My God, I couldn't even get in that myself let alone with all the luggage!

Small cars worry me. I like plenty of metal around me.
