I usually alternate between the one you mentioned Rimmel Caramel Cupcake and Maybelline Super Stay 7 day in Rose Poudre... which i actually prefer for hols as long lasting.
I also like Maybelline Colour Show 60 seconds in Love This Sweater.
They are all nude shades and when my nails break off I prefer these tones on the shorter remains !
It's easier to go neutral on holiday too as you don't have to worry about untidy painting round the edges so much !

I think that's why I like my OPI Hawaiian Orchid.

With a bit of luck if the weather stays nice before we go, a bit of sunbathing might get them to grow a bit quicker. I can get long nails, but the are so weak, especially with 3 dogs... I always catch them in something.

Look at the Sally Hansen range for nail hardeners and cuticle oil. Apparently that promotes growth, my nails have never been so good!

Great thread - I need my nails re-doing so I’ve just been googling all the varnishes mentioned. Love both the Hawaiian Orchid & Ballet Slippers. Think I might go with Hawaiian Orchid first, then maybe try the other one in a few weeks! Thanks ladies! 😊

My nails are wrecked at the moment I can't even keep gel polish on them, I am filing them one way with a glass file and using strengthener but they are still breaking all the time. I will try oil but someone told me it takes 7 months for nails to improve!

OPI is traditionally a normal polish although the also do a gel range. You can also get a gel effect high shine top coat that comes off as normal and doesn’t need soaking

Mine is a normal, I don't use Gels. Usually get mine from QVC. x
