Ah, brilliant thank you, will have a look on there. I usually have gel for special occasions but obviously does get expensive getting them re-done every few weeks. Although, it’d be nice to have gel for summer when toes are on show more often. I think I’ll contact my nail lady to see if she has this colour. Thanks again.

What's the gel like varnish like?
I don't watch QVC but I am finishing work soon so that could change!

Hey up girly lasses, first time I've heard of a diamond [or glass] nail file, is it like a diamond drill bit I haven't worn nail varnish since, well, can't remember actually - I use a bit of sandpaper if I don't have a file to hand Noticed the Dollar Tree do some coloured varnish whilst looking for a file. About 12 years ago a friend asked to use my nails for her exam, that false nail gunk, my fingers felt awful, like a ton weight, once the tutor gave her a pass the horrible stuff came off. I can't imagine how those lasses with very false, long, and sometimes horrendously pointy, nails perform some, err, actions I'm too impatient and fidgety to sit and have somebody apply gunk to my nails, I'll Google the diamond/crystal nail file

Same with make-up, brush on a bit of DWC powder stuff (had that around 10+ years) and mascara, wore some last Saturday for the first time in 6 month... sis and I have been Tom boys all our lifes

Treat them as normal polish, I don’t get any longer wear on mine. I use Sally Hansen but so many about now.
I like OPI above all brands for normal polish. But have a few £1 Primark ones and they are surprising good!
If I like a colour, I try it. I also do my own gels under the light, very long lasting but you need to soak the stuff off, which could damage your nails.

OPIs gel like stuff is called infinite shine it is really nice, lasts well, but removes quite easily (a bit like glitter polish, doesn’t come of in one swipe, but hold the acetone lad over it a few seconds and wipe and it comes off fine) not sure where you can get it besides Sally’s beauty (the beauty supplier, not sure if it’s resticted with them though).
Sally Hansen, Essie, Revlon and Rimmel do something similar, I’ve tried the Rimmel and sally Hansen types and they both work okay, not as good as opi.
None last quite as well as actual gel polish though (unless your nails are polish phobic like my natural ones, then acylic and hard gel are the only thing that stay!)

I like OPI Hawaiian Orchid too, it’s the only thing that protects my nails and has actually made them tougher.

I sometimes put a thin coat of ‘glitter’ nail polish over the top to jazz it up a bit. Just a light colour and not too full of glitter. I’ll post a pic later when I’ve done my nails.

I use Pupa Milano brand from Italy. Various pinks but a fan of Marshmallow .

Just ordered my OPI Hawaiian Orchid polish from EBay yesterday, £7.95 with free postage! I did check QVC but they didn’t have this shade & the ones they had were quite pricey.
