And that there in those nine short words just sums up Disney’s typical planning strategy for everything except new rides !

With all their resources they don’t seem to be able to organise themselves out of a wet paper bag without a monumental f***up !

Don’t know why everyone’s disappointed really. The bands are cheap tat worth a dollar at most. with no real value once you leave. Unfortunately people myself included jump on the bandwagon desperate to get hold of a band with a theme on it. Believe me the original bands are just the same. We have 6 or 7 of them and when we return home they go in the cupboard never to be seen again because we know we can get new ones next year. Disney marketing is brilliant. They have literally cast a few worms caused a frenzy when they dipped them in the water and will now sit back whilst we panic buy as the bands inevitably reappear.
I’m staying retro this year as I’m sure il stand out with a plain band against everyone else’s themed ones. Il cast a smile knowing my ten dollars are safely tucked away.

As annoying as it is for some, it's actually fantastic for them. All about supply and demand. If Wouldn't surprise me if it was planned . What better way to increase interest and sell more of something and get everyone diving straight in and can't wait to part with cash when a limited supply appears again on fear of missing out.

The batteries are isolated before you get them so the battery will still have full life when you get get it (think of the kids toys with the tab to remove before they work)

They have a little plastic tab which separates the battery from its connection plate which is removed before you get them

It pokes through the side
When I brought my first magic band (I was staying off site) the forgot to pull it out when they linked it and gave it to me but didn’t take long to work out, not 100% how it worked but it was there
