Disney Magical Express to POR
So I've been reading up on the ME to POR
I've read that as POR and FQ are the same resort as far as the ME is concerned that in some case FQ can be the 3rd stop and POR is the 4th other people have said the ME only did the FQ and POR My last trip (first onsite) they had a storm just before we landed and all the coaches were delayed so we were waiting over 45 mins for the ME I'm very keen to make the most of out first night as on my first 3 trips we've arrived got to our room and by the time we look out the window it's already dark What are peoples experiences of getting the ME to POR? am I better thinking of booking a private transfer? |

Old Key West Saratoga Springs POFQ POR We never had any problems with ME and the longest we've ever waited is 15mins. |

We went last year but stayed at SSR and that was the order of the drop offs, but they are not far from each other

We didn't have any issue when we stayed there. We always use the DME and, even though they do multiple stops, they don't hang around at each resort - it's literally stop, unload and straight on to the next. Maybe makes a difference of 15-20minutes between the first and last drop off, so certainly not enough to make a huge difference to how much time you have. I quite like seeing other resorts too. Personally, I'd rather save my money fur something else, but if minimising transfer time is a priority for you, then it would be worth looking at the cost of a private transfer and then deciding

We arrived last Sunday and the stops were Saratoga Springs, Old Key West, POFQ, followed by PORS. The journey from the airport, including these stops, was probably around half an hour. It certainly didn't feel very long.
Last year the bus stopped at Old Key West, with the last stop being POFQ. The hold up with the bus was minimal. We spent more getting through security and waiting for our luggage on the carousel, than we did on the bus. |

Excited about Disney

We did ME first time but now we always get a private transfer so we aren’t waiting around at the airport. Works for us and we get to the hotel quicker and can then do whatever it is we’ve planned for the first evening. Each to their own, some like to start vacation with the ME experience as part of it.

I stayed at POFQ last September and the ME I was on went to OKW, then POFQ then presumably it went to POR as there were still people on there when I got off at POFQ.

We went at the end of March and our bus went to POFQ first and then onto POR, so maybe it can depend on how many people need each resort?
