I’ve just binge read your whole report during Hogmanay (what a Party Animal I am ). I really enjoyed it, thank you for taking the time to write it.

We are booked to stay at Coronado Spring in July (I cheekily made two bookings when free dining was released, one for CSR and one for YC but we are leaning towards CSR because the reviews are good and I can’t really justify the additional cost for YC as we will be in Florida for a month this time) it will be our first time with the QSDP and it will be our first time flying form Glasgow with Virgin so I found your report super helpful .

I am currently stalking the Virgin app for a decent price on an upgrade to PE for our return flight but it’s still coming in at about £250 per person and I’m way too tight for that

We have a thing about staying at a different resort each time (We would like to try them all but there are some that the budget will not stretch to ) so we didn’t book POFQ for this trip as we have stayed there before (we stayed for one night at the end of a trip to the Gulf Coast) but it is a great resort and I would stay again in a heartbeat. I love that it’s so compact and quiet, it has a lovely chilled out atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it if you can get availability

Thanks again for taking the time to write, the tips and recommendations you can pick up from a trippy are great

Glad the report was helpful!

CSR really is a lovely resort but like you we like to try different resorts. POFQ is the only moderate we haven’t stayed at and I only booked CSR for this year because it was cheapest.

I’ll keep my fingers crossed for your upgrade to PE!

I've just sat and read your whole trip report! It was a great read. I was interested to know that you can still opt out of the housekeeping i wasn't sure if this was still happening.

Hopefully you get POFQ for this year! Will you be writing another trip report for your next trip?

Thanks for reading!

I’ll take some notes and see how I get on. I usually write a dining report at the very least.

I thought I had read all about your trip but of course it was just the food report I had indulged in. I have really enjoyed catching up.
The magical express didn’t seem particularly magical especially as you had already had a long travel day. The lobby looks beautiful, shame about checkin and the magic bands but I know you did eventually get them. Coronado looks a really nice resort and its next on my list, not that we are going back to Florida after this year’s trip-nobody in my family believes this statement!
I’m so excited about Galaxy’s Edge, I remember being so happy you got to have a look round on your first day. Your droid looks great, I know the girls will want one but I’m sure they will be expensive ornaments just like their adopted banshees.
Your room at the Dolphins looks nice especially the view. we enjoyed looking round there last year while having an aircon break between walking from the golf to Beaches & Cream. I would love the walk to Epcot but not when its baking hot!
Your birthday sounds great, apart from the two sick incidents! I love that you didn’t escape the birthday serenade, it was obviously meant to be! I’m still really torn about the dessert party as like you I would prefer a bit more savoury and also the price for 4 of us is just extortionate although perhaps I could use our gift cards and try my luck booking it while we are at Disney.
A great couple of days at Universal, it was definitely worth upgrading especially to save on the parking. Shame about the traffic back to Disney on both of your days. I do love Harry Potter and I find that I can easily be persuaded to part with my money even though I find it overpriced-saying that I have found the quality to be good and so far they have lasted well!
I hope you get your wish for more beignets and POFQ becomes available for your next trip. Thanks for taking the time to write up your holiday, looking forward to the next report.

Just caught up with your post! I’m terrible for not checking back once I’ve finished the trip report!

I can confirm that the Droids have become expensive ornaments that need to be moved every time we clean the floor .

Hopefully you’ll be able to book the dessert party last minute. I’ve thought a couple of times about using gift cards to pay for it so I don’t feel guilty.

I’m definitely going to try and book POFQ for next year if it’s available but I’m also keeping checking for this year.

Thanks for reading!
