Anyone really good on fast passes and child swap?
There is me hubby Scarlett and Georgia. Scarlett big enough for most ride but Georgia is very small.
Would this work? I have a fast pass for splash mountain at 11am booked for me and Scarlett. Hubby will then be given a “rider swap” to come back with Scarlett. I then have a fast pass for big Thunder for hubby at 12.30 And will get a “rider swap” for me to come back. How with this last one can Scarlett come on with us both? As that’s the point for me to be bothered to ride. She would rather go on with hubby than me if she had to choose. Some vlogs said to do it this way but I’m not sure I completely understand it. |

You will each need a fast pass. This was an irregularity before (people could get 6 fastpasses a day etc) but Disney are now clamping down on it and cast member will scan both your bands if you are using fastpass line when first person goes through and add rider swap to the second people riding.

You need fastpasses for everyone in the first group. Your daughter will be able to go back on with the other parent using rider switch. It’s all done with tablets at or near the fastpass entrance. We did this in January and I haven’t heard any actual experiences to the contrary since.

So what I’ve done is
FastPass for splash at 11am for hubby and Scarlett Then FastPass for me and Georgia at 12.30 for thunder. Georgia’s too small for this but will swap her magic band with Scarlett. If as someone said they don’t let us do rider swap on splash then won’t really make much difference. Hopefully this will work. Just seems like a waste booking fast passes for me and Georgia for splash that we couldn’t possibly go on anyway as it just takes up slots that other people could have. Very much doubt she will grow 2 inch in 24days I’ve given up that hope now |

I see no reason why what you are planning will not work. According to disneys own site this is allowed.
Just to add I would be looking to arrive at splash around 11:45 so you enter towards the end of your FP window and then you are in the right area for your FP on thunder when it opens at 12:30. disneyparksmomspanel.disney... -go-fp-373883/ |
