Travel insurance help

Hi I need help with my travel insurance I have recently had a discectomy obviously I have a long time to recover before I go but has anyone had to get travel insurance with similar circumstances? Can anyone offer me advice on where is best to get it from and what I need to do about the rest of my family? All help appreciated.

I assume you haven't bought the Insurance yet?
If so I would get it now. However just look around at whoever is offering a decent price with the cover you need and then you will have to go through the medical screening process online or over the phone.

I took up the free Insurance for my Wife and I with Nationwide Building Society. I have pre existing conditions so had to pay circa £105 per annum on top (back issues etc).
My Wife is awaiting an operation and when we rang them they didn't add a penny to the policy but did note it on their system and sent us a letter confirming same and showing £0 cost.

Be honest and I'm sure you will be fine.

Go to the Dibb Forums, scroll down the list. Under Other Planning Discussion you will see Special Needs. There is a lot of information about insurance here.
