We went every year when our daughter was younger.
Your granddaughter will love it. Go for breakfast, best bet for fussy eaters. Not sure about the birthday card, maybe take one with you and give it to the staff when you check in. Edited at 06:33 PM. |

If you say on your booking it's a birthday celebration then I think you will get the card. Not eaten there but had a birthday celebration at Tusker house once and they took a cup cake and card out.

We went to Akerhaus for dinner. They gave my children cupcakes for their birthday, no card. I do not think the princesses/characters give cards/gifts bought by the guests to the children.
My children got cards in Crystal Palace, Tuskers and Hollywood and Vine but they were given with cupcakes from the server. The only way I can think to have the princesses deliver a card/gift is to purchase a package from Disney Florist which is quite a bit more expensive than a card. For a personal experience, go see Mickey Mouse at Magic Kingdom Townhall. My youngest two had their birthday badges on a Mickey had everyone sing happy birthday to them. Got to love Mickey |

I’ve been to WDW on my husbands birthday 8 times. He’s not s child obviously but he’s never got a card. We have had a birthday cup cake 7 times. Once at Chef Mickeys. Nothing! Don’t rely on a card.
