We went on a budget last minute trip in 2015 for 10 nights, we only did Disney, Universal, a water park and a bit of shopping but loved it and would 100% do it again!
We went in Nov/Dec and easily fit everything in with time to spare, even with thanksgiving being busy

We even left the bubble for an outlet shopping trip... This was October half term here into beginning of November so great theming we saw Halloween and Xmas

We did 9 days (ny/disney Holidays), and managed 7 days at Disney, one day at each park - 2 for MK, a day in Celebration and a chill out day at the villa, and leaving day walking around Disney Springs. We were well organised and managed to do everything we wanted.

I think that was a full 9 days, and half a day in Disney springs, but we also didn’t have jet lag to deal with, having come from NY. We had to choose what was important to us, and i planned out each day precisely, with a special ADR each day too. We were also going to do a day at Clearwater but decided to have a pool day instead.

Our very first trip was 11 days (including travel days). We managed every Disney park- more than once, us Ioa seaworld, Busch gardens a water park and a trip to Tampa for the ice hockey, fruit picking, shopping, mini golf and a bit of time out with a sickness bug. Phew! It was great and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It was end of Nov/beginning of December so we went to mvmcp as well. Crowds weren't too bad once thanksgiving was over though so I think that helped.
We are going for 12 nights again this summer, so 11 full days and plan to do Disney, US/IOA and maybe 1 water park with a bit more pool downtime as the heat might slow us down a bit. |

Hi xeal, we did 10 nights in 2016 and 7 in 2017! My husband is self employed so long holidays are difficult. In 7 days we fit in 3 half days at MK plus Halloween party, 4 half days at Epcot (including arrival night), 2 half days at AK, one half day at Hollywood studios, a day at universal (2 parks) and 2 trips to Disney springs.
It was busy and we did rope drop every morning, but our secret is a midday break that splits the day up and avoids the busiest and hottest time. We are a couple which of course makes it easier - no kids! But wouldn't hesitate to go for a short trip again. |

We do just a week regularly but we did just 5 days once where we went to a wedding! That was tiring but we got all the Disney parks done, a Wedding, a World Showcase 'pub crawl' and an 'over tired row' in our Poly room!

I've never been for as long as 2 weeks.
My first "proper" Orlando trip as an adult was in 2015 (I'm discounting 2014 which was only 4 nights long) and was for 7 nights. I spend most of my time at Disney and did one day at Universal/IoA with the Unlimited Express. This was hands down one of the most intense trips I've done - I was solo, wanted to see everything, and so rope dropped and closed down parks (with my record day being 8am-10pm at Universal... then to MK until end of EMH at 3am). I managed to do almost everything I really wanted to do (and some things more than once), but it was exhausting, and I didn't really have time to stop and smell the roses. These days my trips are still not that long (recent trip was again 7 nights), but I take things at a much more relaxed pace and stop and smell the roses most days.
