Try a Travel Counselor agent near you. I have gone through them for the first time. I had a recommendation from a friend. Sadie is lovely and deals with all the holiday prep so I can relax 😂 she quoted me £6450 for Villa, flights and transfers. We don't fancy driving over there so not hiring a car. Try see what they quite you. Let me know x

I would say you will definitely do it but sit tight, be patient and don’t panic!
But I would book it all separate and not with a travel company! I have learnt this in the past .

Just to echo everybody else , I think you can definitely do it for your budget the time of year you are going . Get quotes from all the suggestions above and if not do it yourself separately.

I think this is spot on. By piecing it together yourself, you'll do this I reckon.

Hi, I can give you a price for this year over the Scottish School Hols which hopefully won't be too far off. Edinburgh to Tampa, BA via London. Flydrive, 7 people £2340. 4 bed Villa Windsor Hills £1800 for a fortnight. You would certainly be able to book a Villa now though the decent BA prices will probably not appear until Dec sale time.

I would be very surprised if you couldn't get what you want for your budget. I can't believe how much Virgin have quoted
I would get a few quotes from the agents already mentioned but I'm sure the cheapest way would be to DIY it.

Ramsay Travel have just called me back with a quote of £11,800

That is for

4 nights in RPR (not club but still with front of line passes)
10 nights in a 4 bedroom Villa in Glenbrook
10 night car hire (collect from Universal)
Flights GLA-MCO with Virgin
14 day Combo tickets for Disney and Universal with free memory maker

My mum has said this is the holiday of a lifetime for her and my dad and she wants to split it down the middle! So £5,900 each family! Im tempted!

I'm not meaning to scare but there are lots of uninsured drivers in Florida, god forbid you get in a crash that requires one or more of you to have hospital treatment ensure you have adequate coverage.

I have a friend who was gloating she got cheap insurance through her bank. I read the coverage for worldwide assistance and the medical coverage is MAX 100 000€

Honestly 100 000 is peanuts in the states I'm surprised they can even offer a worldwide policy with such low values.

My insurance covers me for 1 000 000€ and includes repatriation as soon as possible after an accident.

I'm not saying you aren't covered but I'd check the limits on it.

To the OP I think you'll get a good holiday for 10K not including spends. the villa price will depend on how far from Disney you choose.

Forgot to say if you go down the DIY route ... many villa owners will give you flexibility (eg +/- 2 days) to book your flight - so that then gives you a chance to really save on the flight costs.
