Tickets - but no clue where to start !

We're not familiar with any other Disney tickets than the "Ultimates". We've always bought these because it meant we could "park hop" - visit more than one park in a day, and also go in for rope drop, come out for a break at lunchtime, then go back in in an evening. They are the ultimate in flexibilty!
They are on offer at the moment with most suppliers - 14 days for the price of 7 (seems to be a permanent offer!). Disney themselves were offering the best price (including free Magic Band - something else for you to research!), but we don't know if that's still the case. One disadvantage of buying from Disney is that you have to pay all in one go.
We're not sure when you're going, but Disney occasionally put their prices up. You could buy now to avoid price rises, but the ticket is not activated until first use i.e. you have 14 days from first use, not purchase date.
