Upgrade Disney 14 day to AP before?

Hey,

I have a UK 14 day ticket booked as part of a package (booked through Disney) for October 2019 and was wondering if I booked another trip to go BEFORE this date would I be able to upgrade to an annual pass or can you only do it after the start date on your ticket?

I don't believe so as you haven't actually paid for those tickets yet, unless you've already paid that holiday off? I think you can only do it when you're there by visiting guest services. If anyone knows differently, it would be good to know
