Mobile Ticket protection worth it?

Looking at tickets for THIS year and between 2 suppliers there's about £120 difference for the same tickets (for 4ppl). The only difference I can see is that 1 supplier , ATD, offers ticket protection whereas the other supplier, UAT, doesn't.

Is it worth the extra? I know there's a lot of what ifs etc but what's the chances of losing or damaging tickets while out there?

We bought magic bands and kept tickets in the safe, so had a back up, also found someone's 2 week pass in universal and handed it in to a staff member, he was quite sure that the lady who it belonged to could just go to customer services and even if it hadn't been found they would issue new one with proof of purchase, but don't know how true that actually is! We have always taken insurance out, you spend a lot on tickets and if you were to lose them and you couldn't get them replaced on goodwill of the parks you would be pretty gutted! Atd are usually really good at price matching, and you may find that they will give you free insurance to get the sales

As long as you have a photo of the back of the ticket they will replace them. And these days with magic bands etc once they are linked to your my Disney experience account your Disney tickets are pretty safe. You would just need to buy a magic band in a worst case scenario.or I fact I think Disney would reprint it for you as it’s linked to your account
