Travelling over next month and between car hire prices and parking not sure if it will be worth it hiring a car this time.
My only concern with Uber is I'll be travelling with my wife and daughter and 3 large suitcases is Uber ok with this? |

we didnt hire a car for the first time. Uber was fine. We didnt even spend hire car money, never mind parking, tolls, fuel etc.
Prebooking was mega expensive though, even with (at times) surge it was cheaper not to preebook. Longest wait was 5 minutes. Edited at 05:12 PM. |

Hi Guys,
First time back here in quite a while.. I'm heading to Florida in April of this year for the first time since 2017, and the first solo trip! I've just read the guide and it says that Uber's cannot be pre-booked, yet on the uber website you can schedule a ride for a specific date in the future..? Firstly, is this correct? And, secondly, lets say my flight is delayed for some reason, how can I reschedule the uber ride without me having to wait around for ages?

Pre booking is a new feature, I’d say you could cancel and rebook if flight was delayed

Without reading thru all 49 pages, just a point that if its not already been noted & is the same as in Australia was last November, you can scroll down the cars and find GREEN cars i.e. Hybrid or Electric which usually means you can newer cars plus more environmental cars if that is important to you.

Was looking to book to/from transport from MCO to I-Drive hotel and it's coming in at just under $200, looking at Uber/Lyft and same journey is approx $100. Has anyone done it this way and any pros/cons?
Family of 6 and 6 suitcases. Cheers |
