Flying club miles

Hello,

Never came across these things until today and discovered you can use clubcard points as well!

So who is better BA or Virgin and how many of these miles would need to be equated for significant sums off flights etc?

Also I'd be grateful for more information on this to see if it is worth it, I've been on both websites but can't locate what the miles equate to in terms of savings or upgrades

Where do you live & Holiday?
If you live in the North I find VA better just because they fly direct to the USA and that is where I holiday.

BA/Avios you can use them on a lot of things such as- Plane Tickets, Eurostar, Hotels & vouchers.

If you read my signature that should help you understand how to earn VA miles

Yeah just outside of Glasgow.

Since last year we have vowed to only ever go to USA now! For us any other holiday wouldn't satisfy!

Thanks I will give it a read

Hey just had a quick skim over the last few pages of that thread.

I have a theory.

My weekly shop is around £50. If I bought a £50 Tesco voucher and then spent it on my weekly shop would I get clubcard points for buying the voucher and then points from spending it?

No points on Tesco gift cards for obvious reasons.
