I managed to get VA Gatwick - orlando return in PE last October 16th for £691pp - booked 5/6 weeks before departure. All dates either side of this were a lot more!

I wouldn’t want to pay more than £400 for those off peak dates. I would wait

I dont think anybody can really answer this question for you as it depends on how much risk you are prepared to take. Personally if I was going the end of of September I would normally book much later as I know there can be deals. However you have accommodation booked and therefore have more to lose than me. Also while September is generally deemed a cheap month there is the addition of star wars land this year which could potentially increase demand and therefore increase prices. If £150 saving can be achieved by leaving a day earlier is this not an option? You could book a room at one of the Rosen's on I Drive for a night (about £50 if you shop around) and then move on to your prebooked accommodation the following day

For £500 I’d have booked them months ago.

I had a look on skyscanner out of curiousity and I can see direct flights with Norwegian LGW>MCO on your dates for £450pp which are a lot closer to your budget.

As others have said it depends if you can hold your nerve or not. I would worry about them selling out so I wouldve booked by now

I found flights on your dates with Norwegian (Flying from LGW) £460pp including x2 20kg luggage.
Thanks for looking. I’ve seen the Norwegian flights - although we’re not picky at all between other airlines we won’t go with Norwegian after some terrible customer service a few years back.

Sorry just realised you said the same as someone else but only quoted their reply! Norwegian are the only airline we avoid

We have a great deal on the accommodation with free DDP and the time booked off work so moving too much isn’t an option unfortunately!

We are considering this and may do so if we need to, I’d just rather not have the stress of asking for another day off work!
