Flight Cancellation Claim

Our direct BA flight from NOLO was cancelled and they put us on an indirect flight the next day.

I submitted a claim for the 600€ each for cancelled flight and also for the consequential loss ( extra night accommodation, food, travel as well as a days loss of earnings) this was on the 3rd September, we had an immediate acknowledgement but nothing else since, despite chasing.

Where can I go from here?

You can contact BA complaints, but BA arent the fastest at paying out, especially if you are requesting extra payout in the same claim.
I personally havent heard them paying for loss of earnings. Have you tried your travel insurance?

CEDR may be an option as BA is one of the airlines signed up to this adjudication scheme.
You can’t refer yourself until 8 weeks since you submitted your claim to BA so a couple more weeks?
However, if they advise your claim is valid, they’ll liaise with BA who then have to meet the deadlines
Worked very well for us when BA were trying to dodge our EU261 claim; got the funds from BA within 2 weeks of referral to CEDR.
