Thanks to everyone who has replied so far.
We don't need to be in town as she has moved out into a house now and we also want free parking.
By the way I stayed at Jurys Inn on a hen night, I had totally forgotten what it was called so thanks for the memory jog.
There's a Premier Inn opposite the Jurys Inn if you are happy with the location and has plenty of parking, it's the London Road one.

That’s in the Hyson green area - the park inn on Mansfield road is walkable from there 😊

There’s also the premier inn Nottingham west, this is at Phoenix park, a few minutes off junction 26 of the m1, and just across the car park from the tram station. You can then get off at the forest stop which is close to where your daughter is staying, or just ride the tram straight into the city centre and meet her there.

Premier Inn at Castle Bar, Nottingham is fairly new and central to everything

Ooh and visit Doughnotts - puts Voodoo Donuts to shame!

Thank you everyone for your help. We actually decided to drive home as it wasn't late and we have a lot going on here just now. We took our granddaughter to the Millers Barn which is next to Premier Inn which is close to a tram station. She has never been there before and said it made a change from McDonald's - then ordered a burger. Still she seems well and happy which is the main thing, and has got a job at a local Miller and Carter which is good news.
Anyway thanks again everyone. X

The Premier Inn Goldsmith Street is a nice one. We stay there when going to the theatre. Oops just realised you’ve been and are home again!
