We went last summer. It is a fabulous theme park, really pretty and charming.
We stayed at the Efteling hotel which was lovely and breakfast was delicious.
The park was fine in the Friday but absolutely heaving on the Saturday (as you may expect). With a few days there you should be able to do everything at least once.

Myself and DD18 got back a couple of weeks ago. We stayed 2 nights in the Efteling Hotel and spent all day on the Saturday in the park. We were lucky that the weather was dry and reasonably bright all day Saturday so we were able to to do all the rides. I'd say the park is probably geared more to younger children but there's a few big rides and we had a good time.

The hotel was nice - we arrived on the Friday afternoon but it was pouring down so we just eat in the hotel that evening. The breakfast was good and it's literally only a few minutes walk to the entrance of the theme park. We eat in the hotel both nights which was good We travelled here by train which was reasonably easy.

Personally, we wouldn't have wanted 2 days in the park but it depends if you have young children with you.

It is a nice park though and I'm sure you'll have a good time.
