Still deciding.
Funnily enough I was having the same conversation with DH last night. DD1 is a very sensitive soul and I think that she will worry about things back at home if she thinks we have just decided to go away. She would worry about her school and her teacher not knowing etc. I would like to tell them on the Sunday before we go so that she has time to adjust. DH wants to wait until we get on the plane.

I think DH wants to wait until then as when he propsed he wanted to do it at Disney but bottled it and asked me the day before we flew. He has regretted it since and really wishes that he had had the patience and courage to wait.

DD2 on the other hand really wouldn't worry about anything and would be more than happy just to get on the flight and go

We have made our final decision this morning and we will be telling them at home just before we jump in the car to drive down to Heathrow for our overnight stop. It will be a very noisy journey with all the chatter but great fun as well.

UPDATE NO. 6

Just a bit of an update.

I have just booked Discovery Cove for Easter Sunday. 4x ultimate non-swims.

Cannot wait and yet another secret to keep as I am not telling hubby about it until we wake up that morning.

Booked our Heathrow parking now with Meteor Meet & Greet. Never done meet & greet before so looking forward to that. I remember last year when we arrived back at Gatwick, we had to wait 10 minutes for the shuttle bus to the car park and we were just so tired, then had to lug all the cases on and off the bus etc. Least we dont this time.

Well I am now £1794.08 over my original budget of £4000.

Still you only live once eh?

I have also finalised my planner which can now be viewed.

64 days and counting.

Wow just read your pre trip, and can't wait to read your trip report.
I tried to keep our trip a secret, but couldn't.
But like you have booked discovery cove and biddi boppity for the kids, and they will remain a secret until the day.

Have fun and not long to go now.

Hi

Glad you liked it.

It's hard to keep it a secret.

I bet you are really excited about your surprises.

Are you going to do a trippy?

Have done a pre tripee, and have already got my disney themed writing book, (or 3), and pens ready and packed for my tripee.

Love your pre-trippie! I'm excited to hear your views on Homewood Suites as we are also staying there in October It's got fab views hasn't it, and the rooms look great! There are only two of us so we're being a bit greedy but as soon as I saw the size of the suites I couldn't resist! Not to long for you now wheeee!
