Magic Kingdom and Epcot Preferred Parking
This new preferred parking will enable Guests to park closer to the entrances at Epcot and Magic Kingdom Park for an additional $15. Guests who select this option will receive a pass from the Cast Member at the Auto Plaza and be directed to the appropriate lot. At Epcot, Guests will park in the Amaze lot and in Magic Kingdom, Guests will park in the Jafar lot. |

Even with a car we always use the monorail to Epcot. As we were at Bay Lake Tower MK is a ten minute walk along the path. I really do think that Disney are starting to take the proverbial!

Bet you it will be used.
What happens if you're on site, or otherwise entitled to free parking? Just pay the $15? Not that I would, just curious.

In the Jafar lot, not that long ago. For the Basic $20... Did see the new parking areas being built but, hey. an extra $15?!

Wow. No way would I pay nearly double to be a bit closer. I assume for those of us not paying the extra, we can still catch the trams?
