I’d be booking mostly breakfast if I was TS, then you can change the rest of the day if needed.
£1088 total for the 4 of us to upgrade which we have booked with deposits.
So there would be £50 fee to downgrade to QS so it would sort of work out dependent how you looked at it as £1038.

Panicking as Monday is our ADR day
I wouldn’t panic. With all the hype of ADR day I thought it was a must to get places booked. Our ADR date was a few months ago and just last night I was checking our dates in June and we could still have our pick of the top places- CRT, etc. And I expect more slots become available as people change plans closer to time.

FWIW, I’m back in the QS camp. It’s a lot of money extra for us to upgrade that we could spend on other things. Our kids would like the character meals I’m sure but they generally don’t appreciate sit down TS meals. So let’s just eat and go.
We may still do 1 or 2 non character TS meals anyway.

This I think is our 6th trip to Disney, we don't go every year, it will be our first trip without a child and our first trip staying onsite, for us it is all about the food, we have the Deluxe plan and will be planning our days around food. If I had never been before, trying to book restaurants that you have never been to before 6 months out would be overwhelming.

Well our ADR day was today and we have once again changed camps and are in the QS brigade

Booked BOG breakfast, Pizzafari family meal, Restauran... Sundae, Ogas cantina (OOP), ABC Comm. Just need to do BOG lunch once that day is available as 16 nights on site.

Plus have booked Jiko & Flying Fish OOP for me and the wife.

When booking earlier the network in work went down at 10.58 but was only a few minutes which felt like a lifetime

We really loved DDP as we had a mix. We used some of our credits on signature which reduced the number of days we had to eat at TS. We also made sure our TS didn’t occur around times we needed to be in the park and we could have a relaxing free evening. This worked by doing late sittings. Definitely getting the DDP again!
