Thanks for the welcome!
We've rebooked the beach club but we may consider changing resort depending what happens with the dining plan. We also may have to rearrange depending on what happens with those exam dates you mention in your countdown. |

Another 2020 trip bites the dust
Feel so sorry for everyone in your position but at least you seem to have most of the bases covered regarding refunds and deposit credits for the future. Now to start the planning countdown again and get some positivity started for this summer.

I'm glad your cancellation process has been relatively straight forward and that you should get most if not all your money back. Great that you can carry your tickets over to next year and you've decided to stick with the same resort and keep the gift card. It will be an odd few weeks counting down to the summer holidays. But there will be another travel day for you guys you just have a bit longer to wait for it.

Thank you. I think we've come to terms with the idea now so I actually feel much less disappointed now than I did a month or so ago. I think I will keep this PTR going and just change it to next year. It will be interesting to see how things change over the next year and whether or not things can get back to anything like normal.
Thanks, I feel very lucky to have everything sorted from the financial side without having to go through insurance etc and it means that at least the outline of next year's plan is already sorted. It will be a very strange few weeks counting down to the summer holidays. I'm hoping that the situation will continue to improve and we might see a bit more relaxation in the number of people who can meet up so I can see my sister and my mum and dad together. We've managed to come up with a few ideas to help our year sixes celebrate the end of their time at primary school so they don't miss out so much. They have still been able to order their leaver's hoodies but they are having to pay a little more to have them delivered to their homes. One of our teachers has put together a year book for them and we have asked all children to bring in a polo shirt even if they are not at school and we are putting them all out on well spaced chairs that the children will then go to and sign one bubble at a time with a time for the year sixes who are not in school to come in so they can sign too. It is not what they would usually have but it is better than nothing. Thanks we'll see you there. For the first time ever we will actually be travelling in July and early August as we need to be back for A Level results. Of course that may change if exam dates change but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it. |

We need a massive swell of positivity for next August now. I’m struggling to find any for myself so want to get it from all of you guys 👍 |
