Yes it is totally acceptable to take your own food and drink. The only restrictions on the online T&C is no outside hot food, alcohol and pungent foods.

We always take out own drink bottles with us and some sweets.

The studios are hammering the cinema chains. The latest release from marvel and Star Wars for the first 30 days they took 100% of tickets sales so the only money they make is from food and drinks. Disney is a money making machine

We tend to only go to the luxury seats cinema so you have your own space and no one kicks your seat. With the help of the meerkat we paid under £23 for six of us on Tuesday, all booked on line so pretty hassle free.

Last time I went which was ages ago as I really don’t like going , two young ladies brought in a Chinese takeaway! So we had the smell of sweet and sour all around !

Do people really take hot food in to the cinema ? I can honestly say I have never come across this. Our local Vue has recently been reduced to £4.99 so we can go a bit more often now.I don’t take much notice of people eating, it doesn’t really bother me. It’s the mobile phones that drive me mad. I don’t even mind children moving around (if it’s a children’s film).
Our cinema no longer has bins and there are signs up saying leave rubbish near the seat. It must be easier to clean up. We always take our own drinks and snacks though. I like to book in advance and can’t be bothered queuing.
