Mobile Missed our Discovery Cove Date today!

Cannot believe this happened. It's the stuff I have nightmares about!

When we booked with virgin we was both convinced we picked Sunday the 17th for our DC date. Even wrote it on calender and I've signed the waiver forms with that date. Been out and about today and come back to hotel, got all paperwork out for tomorrow and heart sank when it says 16th! I don't even know how we never saw the date when we printed them out at home!

Anyhow few sobs later and a lengthy phone call to a lovely helpful soul at DC we are now booked in for Monday, when it warms back up abit!

Any tips and advice for first timers here at Discovery Cove? We want to get there early for breakfast.
(obviously other than turn up on right day :p)

Oh wow what a nightmare but better you realised today rather than turning up on the wrong day. Terrific that Discovery Cove have sorted you out with another day.

My advice is to arrive before opening to get the most from your day and if anyone wears glasses you can get the mask for snorkelling that have prescription lens which work really well.

Enjoy your day on Monday.

I know I will make sure to get in touch with the company and thank that member of staff.

Ooh great I have glasses was considering popping my contacts in tho? Would you not bother? Or pop them in if I am comfortable wearing contacts? I have slightly different prescription between each eye! Ha

You're not the first person to do this, friends of mine turned up to Discovery Cove a week late! Luckily the staff there were really helpful and gave a day to come back later in the week.

Have a great time.

After breakfast we headed left from the Laguna Grill towards Serenity Bay to secure a couple of sun loungers with umbrellas overlooking the waterfalls🏖
You are right next to the explorers aviary and we were one of the first ones in to feed the hungry exotic birds👍

Oh no! Glad it's sorted! It's very easy to do! I was convinced I had booked tickets to see a show on Christmas Eve this year. It was only when I was looking for sone other tickets I realised I have booked for Boxing Day! Can you imagine if I hadn't realised and turned up?!
It's not a problem as luckily not booked anything else but one as a bit gutted now not doing anything on Christmas Eve so have now booked something else! Worked out well as arranged for friends to come as well and going out for lunch with them which wouldnt have happened otherwise!
