Oldest signup date for a still active member

I wonder what Stu's thoughts are on the DIBB 8 years on. Has it exceeded his expectations and is it still worthwhile for him, as well as for all of us.

I remember when we all "moved into new premises" after some slight disagreements on another site. It's great to see what it's grown into, as the years have passed!

I 'found' the Dibb shortly before booking our first family trip for Nov 2004. We had decided to take DD when she was 4 and planned to book in the December of 2003 and my DH was the first to find the Dibb although I tend to be the one who reads and posts most on here these days!

Like someone else said I wish the Dibb had existed before when DH and used to go on our own - we went 4 times (92,93,96,99) but our only source of advice was the Unofficial Guide which is great but not as great as the Dibb!

Judging by the members who are still around after the very creation of The Dibb it goes to show what a great site and members you all are.
I will not be able to go back now for quite a long time so I use this as my quick fix, so thank you all very much for a wonderful and very informative site

I'm still around, I think I joined a week or two after The Dibb started (my profile says 22 March, what was the official start date?) I don't post loads, only just got my 5th ear, but I check in most days and am proud to be a member of the community
