Vouchers only for booking - disappointing

How gutted am I today, three years ago when we booked our tickets with ATD I received a lovely blue wallet with our confirmation in and a WDW guide book and disney luggage tags.

I paid the balance of our holiday for this year on 5th June and thought I would give them a ring today as nothing had arrived only to be told no nothing would be arriving I had to go onto my account and print off the voucher and take that with me.

As I had booked accommodation with my tickets I just get a voucher for the accomodation and no other magical extras this time.

I am gutted because I have been sitting here for the last couple of weeks waiting for the postman to drop that blue wallet through the door finally making everything seem real. According to them that's what people want these days they don't want any of the other stuff anymore.

We bought Disneyland tickets from them for our December 18 California trip and we received them int the wallet so it must be a recent change. I too loved receiving the wallet!

Digital these days for most TAs and will only continue to increase.

For this it saves them money and cuts down on waste/landfill.

That’s the way with most travel companies now. The only bit of paper you need when going for your flight etc is your passport, everything else just tags off of your verified details.

Do you mean the Disney folder with luggage tags, etc? We got this from Florida Escapes when we booked via them but Disney only send it 2-3 weeks prior to check-in. Not sure if ATD do this or not.

I just received my Universal tickets from ATD, and they came in a blue wallet that I’ll never use with some extra bits that I’ll never need!

Disney luggage tags would have been lovely though (but obviously very unlikely since we’d only booked for Universal!)

I’m guessing it’s because you booked the hotel and tickets together? Was it a Disney hotel you booked? If so, then you will get MagicBands on check in so no need for the wallet/tickets etc. although it is always nice having something like that.

I got the blue wallet with HHN tickets a few months ago, I have a large collection now they do come in handy though

This doesn't seem quite right - you've booked a Disney hotel as well as tickets, even though it's through a third party travel agent you should get the Disney travel pack which has your luggage labels in and some other Disney info. I'd be tempted to contact ATD again and ask why you're not getting these. Mine will be coming in the post -admittedly not for another 6 weeks but I can't wait! Tickets and accommodation booked with Orlando Attractions.
