Are you holding out for the free Disney dining?

A couple of questions fo anyone that's booked with just one person on booking then added others later...

When is the latest you can add people?
Do you need to add them whilst the dining offer is still on?
If you need to cancel, how long before you go do you need to cancel when you will just lose the deposit?

So this was me last year (and this year)

So I added my other guest just before full payment was due. Full payment due day is the last you can cancel before being charged more (I think anyway...)

You don't need to add the person while the offer is still on - infact you can also add and remove days after the offer has expired (I have done that for this upcoming trip too)

Waiting for april here to book for next year, its my 50th as well as wdw, hoping for Oct/Nov but we will see. Wanting to book a split stay too

The usual rumours are starting up, people in the know have been told it's definitely happening and will be announced on the 4th April, on sale from the 21st. As ever, pinch of salt and all that.

We are holding out until April as we want free dining.

But as we are unsure on flight dates we will be booking a longer period than needed with Disney and then amending the Disney dates to match our flights. That way hopefully we don't have issues with room availability.

Given that free dining has always been offered I think it may well be the same as last year where not all standard room categories are included and I am guessing October will be blocked out.

If there isn't any free dining then we probably won't book. We do like the dining plan and always have credits left over. Paying high prices for onsite and then food with two teenage boys? Never!

Does anyone know (well, can do an educated guess) on what they think the dates will be for the free dining next year. ( not release date but booking dates).
I'm still trying to decide on next year or 2022
