Decisions, decisions!
We have ordered our new internal doors from Howdens, white oak that I need to oil. We had planned on getting the pre finished ones but the unfinished ones were in the sale at 1/2 price, which equates to less than a third of the pre finished ones so no brainer!pin.it/FS2zJ6N
However we need to choose skirting board and handles to go with them. Handles We like the Sofia rose ones also from Howdens and are planning to have the satin nickel as the lightswitches/sockets/curtain rails are that finish. But dh wants to have chrome ones on the inside of the bathrooms to match the taps etc in the bathrooms, do people do this? pin.it/a3fj4z5qhxdquj Skirting/Architrave We are between Ogee and Torus, personally I prefer Torus! pin.it/zfblhm7hjmtdln pin.it/gBGLOWF Opinions please

The door handles are exactly the same as ours. Don’t get chrome, you’ll spend forever cleaning grubby hand prints off of them! I wouldn’t personally have 2 different colours, go with satin nickel throughout

It has never occurred to me to match my door handles to anything, nor would I worry if the ones in the bathroom were different to other rooms.
The skirting board pictures are the same. |
