When to book

Hello. We are looking to book on site for the 17th Dec 2018 for 4 nights . I know the prices are not out now but would you book as soon as they are released? Do you know when the winter 2018 are released?

I would be keen to know the answer to this, as looking to book 4 nights in October 2018.

Also, if anyone can shed any light on when the direct Eurostar service for these dates may go on sale, that would be fab!

I always look to book around Feb/ early March. This is when the 30% off plus H/B free dining offer is on.
The deals then reduce to 25 & 20% off before the more regular book 2 nights get 2 nights free commences.
It took some calculating but over our usual 4 night/ 5 day trips we save far more paying the slightly higher initial price with the 30% + food offer than the 2n/2n free initially cheaper price then buying meals once there.
This has been the pattern of offered on the UK site for the last 3 years I have been monitoring.

The new brochure will be out end of Oct/beginning of Nov, so you'll be able to book once that's out. It depends on how long you go for and if you want a meal plan or not as to which offer is best for you. You can book on one offer and then change to another if it suits you better as long as you make changes to the hotel, so you could book SL then change to a better offer if you upgraded to SLGF

Direct Eurostar is on sale approx 10 months in advance

Look at the Eurostar dates about 10 months out. When the dates a few days before your dates are showing, phone up Eurostar. You will probably be able to book the direct returns even before they show up on the website, and unless you get in literally within hours of release, those elusive £72 returns will be sold out. Of course you should still be able to get reasonably priced tickets for a while but ... I like a challenge!
