SLGF or standard DLP hotel room?

Guys we are wanting to book by tomorrow and want opinions on which to go for. We stayed at SL this year and loved it, but really fancy staying at the DLP hotel. If we stayed at SL again we would upgrade to Golden forest. Which is better- SLGF or standard DLP hotel room.😉

We love GF rooms and extras and I don't think I would want to loose that just for being in the DL hotel. Plus I quite like the walk through the Village each day. However my friend has done both and she loved being able to pop back to the hotel so easily and chooses DLH every time now. I suppose it depends on what would work best for you.

I wouldn't trade the extras for location either, but it depends which is more important to you - I love the GF rooms and the lounge access is worth every penny for me.

We've done some research today and SLGF wins for us. I'm going to phone and book tomorrow. Thanks.

I'm surprised that a Golden Forest room would be the same price as a standard at the DLH, whenever I've looked at prices it's always a lot more expensive.

We stayed at Golden Forest this May half term and loved it, the only other thing I would consider trying is Compass club.

I'm doing Compass Club in November as Golden Forest was sold out, so will be very interesting to compare the 2

You really can't beat the DLH for location (was lucky enough to stay there once when the PPI Fairy gave us some unexpected magic!) Being able to just pop up to your room as soon as you are out of the gate is just amazing.

However, my overall favourite is still SL. Never been able to afford GF yet, but I would love to.

We really enjoyed NPB and managed to get a good deal there (didn't do Compass Club though) but although NPB is beautiful, SL still feels like home to us. We met up with a friend for a drink in the Redwood Bar, and commented at the time how much more comfortable we felt there. NPB is lovely, don't get me wrong, but it did sometimes feel it was trying too hard to impress me - whereas SL just feels like a cosy, familiar friend.

We were grateful for the separate security point for NPB though, that was a nice perk!

Ah no.. it wasn't the same price. About £700 more, but could have just about done it, but I've just phoned and booked SLGF and I'm so looking forward to it
