Really looking forward to it. Went reluctantly with my daughters to see it in London and was transfixed. Loved it!

Just watched it excellent! So different from anything I’ve seen before. Made a change from Duke Box Musicals which seem to be prevalent lately.

You aren't! My 17 year old is a huge musical theater fan. She loves the Hamilton soundtrack and was desperate to see it live. So far she has only made it 2/3 through the TV version and needed a break. She is very glad not to have to spent a fortune on tickets.

I love Hamilton, it’s an incredible piece of work. However I cannot stand Lin-Manuel Miranda in the lead. He is constantly going flat. I saw the original West End cast and Jamael Westman was outstanding. In fact and I’ll probably get flamed for this but I actually think the West End cast were better! I love Leslie Odom Jr but he was so shouty, never seen him like that before. I think they probably all pushed a little too much knowing it was being recorded.
You also miss the bass throbbing through your body when sat in the theatre. Trust me seeing it live is on a whole other level!

DH and I just watched it with DDs and we really enjoyed it. DDs saw it in West End just after it opened as they are big fans. I found it quite emotional at the end I'm sure live it must be a much more emmersive experience too

We really enjoyed it. We love the show.
However, we found ourselves making comparisons and on balance, we prefer the west end casts too.
We have seen 3 different Hamiltons (4 after tonight) and both DS and I agree that Ash Hunter comes out on top for us. I love Lin Manuel Miranda but he’s just not my favourite Hamilton.
I loved Jonathan Groff as King George but prefer Mike Jibson.
We thought the Schuyler sisters in Hamilfilm were by far the best we’ve seen. Particularly Philippa Soo as Eliza.

We sort of built our own little dream team after the show
