Disney top execs and Imagineers touring DLP

WDWNT wdwnt/blog/2017/09/disney...ive-expansion/ is reporting that today Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger was spotted with Walt Disney Imagineering President Bob Weiss, Senior Creative Executive Tom Fitzgerald, and others touring Disneyland Park at the Parisian resort.

The article suggests a massive expansion is on the cards following Disney's buyout of all shares. Only good news for the resort and I'm excited to see what does happen, particularly since the only D23 announcement was a very mediocre hotel re theme.

Specifically mentioned in the article was Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission Breakout, and while like most wdwnt articles is purely speculation, and against what I ever expected, having watched the videos of the attraction in California I would love this to happen.

That would be great! I really do like DLP but hate how WDS always feels like a poor second cousin to Disneyland Park, so it would be fantastic if they could do something for WDS like what they did to DCA a few years ago.

On the other hand, could their visit be to look at what stuff DLP has that they can copy for their other parks?

Just a thought.

Hopefully they will add some things to the main park, think Buzz was the last brand new attraction added and that was a long time ago (1998).

Although I imagine Studios will be the focus for the short term.

Either way, the Parks need something more than just the hotel reworking.

That is a good sign. Maybe we get an announcement next year of something 'new'.

I think Tower of terror will get the Guardians makeover, it makes sense as the French have no idea what the Twilight Zone was.

I think there will be a lot more marvel in the studios as well.

I hope they don't mess with the Disneyland park though, most of it is good as it is, just needs a little plussing

The Disney Village, however, needs a total rethink, its v dated and look like it could fall apart in places.

For me, they could make one very easy change in the Studios which would bring people flocking in...

A Marvel character meal in Restaurant des Stars.

They wouldn't even need to change the food (which is fine) and they could just bung up a few Marvel posters to brighten up the walls.
